Haulzo

Four movers, one flat, one clock — and the couch you are dragging can have a rival on the other end of it.

About the game

Two to four movers, one furnished flat, and 150 seconds. Everything in the place is real physics: a couch swings on its own weight and fights you round a doorway, a fridge barely creeps until somebody takes the other end, and a vase you were rough with is worth 40% of a vase you were careful with. That includes what your rivals are carrying — walk up to the far end of the couch somebody is hauling, grab, and pull.

Your score is not banked. It is whatever is sitting in your truck bed at this moment, and the bed fills up: the flat holds more than the four trucks can take, so early you grab what is near and late only the dense, expensive pieces are worth a slot. Every mover gets a private order that pays them double, so the best thing in the room is a different thing for each of you. Between rounds your takings buy ONE tool for the next job — boots, coffee, a dolly, straps — and, over time, the crew: twelve movers who each work differently. Bots fill any empty seat, so a match is never a waiting room.

How to play

  1. Walk into a piece of furniture and press SPACE — or tap GRAB — to take hold of it.
  2. Drag it out to YOUR truck, the one in your colour. Your hands let go by themselves at the tailgate.
  3. Watch YOUR ORDER, top left: those two kinds pay you double, and nobody else was dealt the same one.
  4. The bed runs out before the flat does. Late in the round, only pieces worth their space get loaded.
  5. Grab the other end of what a rival is dragging and pull — a tug-of-war costs them the whole trip.
