One maker, one lamp

Lampglen is a small, independent arcade built by one developer — no studio, no publisher, just a lot of lamp oil. Every game on the shelf is made from scratch: the art, the code, the sound and the little custom engine they all share.

That shared engine is the reason a whole new world can arrive every few weeks. Same hands, same tools, a new place to explore.

Games about light, played in the dark

There is a throughline to everything here: light. A lantern that grows crystals in a quiet cave, a glow that is your only weapon range against the dark, a carried lamp that lets you both see and be seen. Cozy or fast, each game is a different answer to the same idea.

Free, in your browser, no strings

Every game is free and runs right in your browser — no download, no install, no account and no paywall. Most play on both desktop and mobile; a few are best with a keyboard, and each game page tells you which.

Some games have a Daily mode: one shared board for everyone that resets at midnight UTC — a small reason to come back tomorrow.
